Adventures in Atlanta

Never having been to a tradeshow, I had no idea what to expect when I arrived in Atlanta on Thursday.  I quickly dropped my bags at the hotel and cruised over to the AmericasMart buildings to help set up the booth.  I wasn’t expecting so much organized chaos and it was hard to ignore the giddy excitement pumping out of every exhibitors booth.  All of us trying to showcase our products in the best way and with the best use of light.

Shortly after deciding on what items to place where, I was asked to venture off to find a woman who needed a few pieces of our product for display.  So off I went on my little mission.  I was in complete awe (and lets be honest, lost too) as I walked through all of the long corridors filled with people and inventive exhibits.  I never did find the ‘woman” but I did walk past the handsome duo known as The Property Brothers while on my little adventure =)

Outside of the mart there were some fun things going on too.   This fountain, inside Olympic Park, was packed with little ones laughing and splashing.  We paused to watch all the fun and were surprised when they cleared the splash pad for a Bellagio like fountain show.

While we were busy at the show, there was one little gal sad to be left behind, but Ms. Bella waited ever so patiently for mom and dad to return.
