When we say that every garment at Green 3 has a story, we mean it. Whether the garment’s journey is short-lived or becomes a piece that stays within our main collections, we love sharing with you what that journey is. Have you ever wondered what our skirts’ journeys are? Today, you’ll find out!
There are many different styles of skirts you can choose from, as far as color and the length. But did you know we also make skirts that are 100% organic cotton, 75% recycled cotton knits, and re-purposed? With that, each style of skirt has its own, unique story to tell.
100% Organic Skirt
Every idea thought of at Green 3 starts in Oshkosh at our home base. Between Sandy’s ingenious ideas and the talent of Alex, our in-house artist, Green 3 makes these designs breathe life. From there, our skirts are sewn in-house or in Green Bay at Aspiro. Pre-shrunk for the ultimate comfort and proudly made here in the USA with environmentally-friendly, water-based dye.
75% Recycled Cotton Skirt
This unique skirt is sewn out of the finest, recycled cotton in an assortment of panels. They are then sewn together in upstate New York with a relaxed-fit waistband that hugs your curves. You can wear this knee-length piece with pride as it’s made in the USA.
Would you believe us if we said this was made out of ties? That’s right! The front panel that you see is taken from reclaimed and re-purposed ties that we find. The back and lining is made from woven fabric, soft and comfortable for you. Because there is no one tie alike in Green 3, each skirt is unique and a one-of-a-kind! Buttons and a tie on the side make it seem like the real deal of taking a tie and turning it into a skirt. The best part is is that Green 3 keeps this made in the USA, too.
We hope that you’ve seen a little of what the extraordinary stories of these skirts are. In this post, we shared with you all of our sale skirts, where you can take an additional 40% off of them for the weekend of August 7 through August 9! Shop online here!
