Travel Tuesday: Atlanta

Green 3 is not only found in Wisconsin, but also found across the nation. We adore spreading the love at our wholesale events. Green 3 co-founder Jim will be traveling to Atlanta in July to network, connect with other wholesalers, and to have a good time sharing USA made products.

The Atlanta gift show is at AmericasMart near Centennial Olympic Park and runs from July 7 to July 14. You can find us in the Gib Carson showroom, building 3, room 1319, anytime during those days from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and you can shop late on July 10 and 11 until 8 p.m.

Are you attending the gift show for the first time? Or are you a returning attendee and looking for something to do during your down time? Here are Jim’s top 5 recommendations for food and entertainment, all within walking distance of AmericasMart!

1. Park Avenue Deli for breakfast

Jim recommends Park Avenue Deli, also known as Kwan’s Deli, for breakfast and lunch. He says it’s not only amazing food, but very affordable and just a gem. Kwan’s Deli offers breakfast sandwiches, pancakes, omelets and more! Find their menu here.

2. CNN Omni Hotel Lounge Bar

Looking for a good drink to cool down from the Georgia heat? Jim says this is the place to be. Have an important game you are missing? Don’t fret- the Latitudes Bistro and Lounge has plenty of TVs showing the latest games.

3. The College Football Hall of Fame

This hall of fame is every football fan’s dream! The hall is brand new and offers a one-of-a-kind experience where you, as the ultimate fan, can find your favorite players on the etched-glass and can select videos and images of your favorite school’s players and coaches. Plan your visit here.

4. The Secret Chick-fil-A

Okay, maybe it’s not so secret, but Jim says not a lot of new attendees may not know its location as it’s hidden in building 3 on the 5th floor. Good food, quick service, and it may remind you of home. For us Wisconsinites, Chick-fil-A is a treat, which is why Jim recommended it!

5. The Centennial Park Fountain

The title is a little misleading- when you think of fountain, you probably think of a circular or square cement piece in the middle of the park where you can sit on a bench nearby and watch a single water spout flow. This fountain is fantastic- watch kids run through the underground jets as they shoot up in the air.

So, whether you’re a returning or new attendee, not only will Green 3 see you there, but we hope you find some free time to enjoy Atlanta just as we have.
